Mastrite

Contains Iodophor – 6.25% w/w (minimum) with available iodine 1.1% w/w.

Mastrite is indicated for use in preventing teat sores and lesions while giving potent control of mastitis causing organisms.

Before Milking

Hand milking:

1. Mix a tablespoonful (10ml) of Mastrite in 5ltrs of water

2. Dip a cloth in the mix, squeeze it then wipe the base of the udder and teats carefully.

3. Ensure the udder and teats are thoroughly cleaned.

4. Wipe off excess water and apply desired amounts of CKL Milking salve.

Machine Milking:

a. Dip the cloth, squeeze then wipe the base of the udder and teats carefully.

b. Ensure the udder and teats are thoroughly cleaned.

c. Aſter machine milking, apply CKL Milking Salve when stripping the teats or as a protectant to prevent sore teats and chapped teats.

Aſter Milking

Using a teat cup, dip the teats in a solution of 1 part Mastrite in 2 parts of water. (1:2)
