Our COP Reports

We are an active member of the UN Global Compact Network since 30 November 2015. We advance the mission of the UN in our business by upholding the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact as well as contribute to the achievement and realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are in line with our business mission and vision.  

We recognize that human rights are rights inherent to all human beings. At CKL Africa Ltd, we champion respect for human rights in all our business operations and practices. We do not undertake any actions or measures that amount to forms of Child Labor, Discrimination, Forced or Compulsory Labor. We are committed to offering decent work and at all times, implement fair labour practices that meet both national and international labour standards.

At CKL Africa Ltd, we are conscious of the impacts we are making on our environment. We endeavour to use our resources more efficiently, reduce, reuse and recycle most of our wastes and through Eco Care Programme, support local communities on environmental conservation and protection efforts.

We live on the foundation of integrity and trust.  Our business is a demonstration of our collective commitment and responsibility to undertake sound business practices. We make deliberate efforts to be a reliable and ethical market leader.

Our staff, our customers and the public are encouraged to report anonymously any abuses, misconduct such as acts of corruption by our staff or any negative impact on our society or environment because of our business activities at our Whistleblowing platform ‘Ongea’.  See our previous COP Reports here.
